Xite

Ethical AI

Our commitment to responsible AI

Our Position

AI is here to stay. We accept this reality, but we refuse to accept a future where art, music, and creative expression become the sole domain of machines while humans are left with manual labour. Technology should elevate human creativity, not replace it.

Xite exists to give people tools that enhance their creative vision. We build technology that works alongside human imagination, not instead of it.

Content Safety

We recognise that AI tools can be misused. This is not something we take lightly.

Xite employs automated content moderation to detect and prevent illegal imagery. We have a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and work with relevant authorities when such content is detected.

At the same time, we respect your privacy. We do not manually review your images. Our moderation systems are automated, and your content is deleted within up to 48 hours. We believe safety and privacy can coexist.

Automated systems can make mistakes. If your content is blocked and you believe it was a false positive, contact us for review at xiteimageeditor@gmail.com.

AI Legal Compliance

At Xite we take our legal obligations seriously and continuously work to meet applicable UK requirements.

  • Designed to support obligations under the Online Safety Act 2023 (where applicable)
  • CSAM safety measures, including retention of CSAM detection metadata (hashes/logs) for up to 2 years
  • Cooperation with UK law enforcement and the IWF when legally required
  • GDPR / UK GDPR aligned data handling and retention practices

Our Pledge

Should Xite become commercially successful, we commit to actively supporting human artists, musicians, and creators who produce their work without AI assistance.

This is not a marketing statement. It is a pledge. The details of how we fulfil this commitment will evolve as the company grows, but the principle will not change: we will use our success to protect and empower human creativity.

AI should be a tool in the hands of creators, not a replacement for them.
